These kits are the quickest and easiest way to create fabulous, fun and funky felt out of the softest merino wool. Felt is made from wool fibres. Applying warmth and friction causes the overlapping scales of each wool fibre to open up, and overlap and tangle with the other scales, which bonds the fibres together. The warmth is applied through the application of warm water, friction is created by the bubbles on the bubble wrap. It can be used to decorate cards, stitched into, for collages, or used to adorn cushions, clothing or scarves. It can also be used to make book covers, jewellery rolls, purses etc.

Silk Paper is created by combining layers of different types of silk fibres with other fibres binding them together with paste. Depending on how many layers of fibres are used, the end result can either be gossamer thin, or thick and chunky, with an amazing textural quality. It can be used to decorate cards, cover books, create collages, stitched into, or simply framed for all to admire.

Kundalini Papermaker kits are the easy way to make beautiful and individual handmade paper. The process is based on traditional, centuries old, papermaking techniques, simplified by the creation of unique hinged frames, separate sheet of mesh and smooth plastic drying boards. The paper can be used to create writing paper, decorate cards, cover books and boxes, or for callage work, rubber stamping and artwork. Flower petals, threads and gold flakes, leaves, confetti, herbs and spices can be added to make different effects.

Each kit contains the essential equipment to get started:

A pair of wooden frames and a sheet of mesh - these are scooped through a vat of pulp (made from existing paper) and water. The pulp forms a soggy sheet of paper on top of the mesh.

6 plastic drying boards - the plp on the mesh is pressed onto a drying board and dries to form a smooth sheet of paper.

a full colour instruction leaflet with hints and tips and a troublshooting section.
